
Odessa Film Festival due to the war will be held in autumn in Warsaw
This year the Odessa International Film Festival will be held in Poland. A screening of Ukrainian films will take place in autumn as part of the Warsaw International Film Festival. The team will accept applications for participation from filmmakers until September 1. This was reported on the official Facebook page of the film review. – The national competition of the 13th OIFF will take place at the Warsaw International Film Festival! Full-length feature and documentary films, as well as short feature films are invited to participate in the OIFF National Competition in Warsaw, the post says. The film festival will take place in Poland from 14 to 23 October. In 2021, the film screening was held in the usual format – with a red carpet and star guests. The guest of honor was the star of the series “Charmed” (“All women are witches”) Rose McGowan. A year before, the OIFF was held online for the first time in 11 years due to quarantine. Last year, the Grand Prix of the Odessa Film Festival was awarded to the film directed by Ekaterina Gornostai “Stop, Earth”. The film also won Best Actor and Best Film nominations.
