
Pedestrian fatally hit by drunk driver
A pedestrian was fatally struck by a drunk driver
Toronto police say a man died after being hit by a car around 3:30 a.m. early Saturday morning.
Police say that the man was struck while walking in the area of Wilson Avenue and Clayson Avenue, near the intersection of highways 400 and 401.
The man was taken to hospital where police said he had died.
Police also found that the driver fled the scene, but was found and then arrested. The suspect is a 42-year-old man who was intoxicated.
