Pentagon on Russian rocket attacks: It doesn't work

Russian strikes on Ukraine's civilian and critical infrastructure have no military value. This was stated during a briefing by an unnamed Pentagon official.

According to him, shelling of Ukraine with rockets and drones is carried out in order to spread panic among Ukrainians, hoping that this will reduce their resolve.

«If you look back in history and look at the air campaigns that tried to strike at the psychology and suppress the people, it doesn't work. And if it comes to that, you saw that in the case of the Ukrainians, this led to an increase in their result,” the official said, calling these actions of the Russian Federation another war crimes.
