Only two guests were able to attend the wedding, and not the least: the father of the groom, the former King Constantine II , and the father of the bride, the wealthy businessman Mr. Thomas Flohr. Two pictures of the ceremony were unveiled on Twitter: despite a union in small committee, the bride and groom appear all smiles. It was wearing a white skirt suit, strappy pumps and a large bow in her hair that Nina Flohr officially joined the Greek royal family. The newlyweds and their fathers then reunited with the other members of the family, including Queen Anne-Marie, for a reception organized in the large villa owned by Thomas Flohr in St. Moritz. A religious ceremony should take place when the health situation permits.

The couple’s engagement was announced on September 1 by the office of King Constantine: ” Their Majesties King Constantine and Queen Anne-Marie are delighted to announce the engagement of their youngest son, Prince Philippos, to Nina Nastassja Flohr, daughter of Thomas Flohr and Katharina Flohr. Nina and Philippos got engaged on the island of Ithaca , Greece, earlier this summer . ” Prince Philippos (34) grew up in London with his four siblings: Crown Prince Pavlos (53), Prince Nikolaos (51), Princess Alexia (55) and Princess Theodora (37) . Philippos owes its name to its famous cousin and godfather, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II .was her godmother, just as ex-king Juan Carlos of Spain is her godfather.

For her part, the Swiss Nina Flohr is a rich heiress, only daughter of billionaire Thomas Flohr, founder of the private jet airline VistaJet. In 2018, Forbes estimated the latter’s fortune at $ 2.3 billion. Dividing her time between her apartment in Notting Hill, London, and her home in Los Angeles, Nina Flohr regularly visits her father’s seven-story villa in St. Moritz, a mansion ” inspired by the James Bond films ” according to our colleagues.
