Counselor Head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak commented on the appointment of the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Federation Valery Gerasimov as commander of the united group of occupying troops instead of Sergei Surovikin. He spoke about this on the air of the telethon.
