Podolyak reacted to the partial shutdown of Starlink for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The chief communicator of the Office of the President reacted to the decision of the Starlink company of the American billionaire Elon Musk to limit the «military» Ukraine's use of satellite Internet from SpaceX. Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Administration, writes about this on Twitter.
He reminded that in a few days it will be a year when Ukraine is fighting a full-scale Russian invasion for its existence.
& #171;Companies must decide for themselves: either they are on the side of the right to a free life and Ukraine, and then they don’t figure out how to harm, or they are on the side of Russia and its «right» on murders, seizure of territories», – said Podolyak.
The adviser to the head of the OP added that «SpaceX (Starlink — ed.) and company president Gwynn Shotwell, it is advisable to select a specific option».
In February 2023, Musk actually supported the spread of a Russian fake about the losses of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the Web, commenting with the words «Such a loss of life» a tweet with a link to a little-known pro-Iranian Turkish site, where the anonymous «with a link to the Mossad» cited the losses of the occupiers and Ukraine, according to which the Russians in manpower and equipment lost almost ten times less than the Ukrainians.
- On the morning of February 9, SpaceX forbade the Ukrainian military to control drones using Starlink.
