Police are looking for the second suspect in an April murder in Little Italy

The SPVM arrested a first suspect last May (archives).

The police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who may be linked in the 7th homicide committed this year in the territory served by the Montreal police.

Two suspects were involved in the firearm murder of Steven Marques which occurred late in the evening of April 16 , at the intersection of rue Jean-Talon and boulevard Saint-Laurent, in the north of the city.

One ​​of them, Marcus Barthelus, was arrested on May 12. Investigators from the Major Crimes Section of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) are still looking for the second suspect.

He is a white-skinned man , of slender stature, whose hair is dark and short. Police say he was dressed in dark pants and a plaid shirt with a black hood during the homicide.

Footage of the suspect was captured by surveillance cameras.
