Polish Ministry of Defense: The first Patriot missile defense systems are already in Ukraine
The first American Patriot missile defense systems arrived in Ukraine. This was stated by the Polish Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak in an interview with the Spanish newspaper Razon.
«I must emphasize that thanks to the efforts made by Poland, the Patriot batteries or the first Leopard tanks, among other things, have already arrived to Ukraine. We are not only the main point for the transfer of aid, but also one of the largest donors», the minister said.
At the same time, the head of the Polish defense department gave the exact number of Patriot batteries that arrived in Ukraine.< /p>
Among other things, Blaszczak noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, Poland has transferred weapons worth more than $2.2 billion to Ukraine, this is without the cost of training Ukrainian soldiers.
« ;I want to emphasize here that only our joint actions – the actions of the entire free world – can tip the scales of this unjust conflict in the right direction,” he added.
