Head of PMC «Wagner» Yevgeny Prigozhin is sure that the retreat of his troops from Bakhmut will destroy the entire front, and then Russia will blame the mercenaries for the defeat in the war. He stated this in a video message, reports «Ukrainska Pravda«.
«If PMC «Wagner» retreat from Bakhmut, then the entire front will crumble… If PMC «Wagner» now it is rolling back, then the following situation occurs in history: it is clear that the front will crumble to the Russian borders, it may continue to crumble», — Prigogine said.
He complained that the Russian authorities would accuse the «Wagnerites» in defeats in the war, since the retreat of mercenaries from Bakhmut «will cause the effect of a spring», and Ukrainian forces from all sides will break through into the territory of the so-called «LPR», sweep away Lugansk, Sorokino and enter the territory of Russia . He also admitted that Crimea would be de-occupied further.
Prigozhin was indignant that for this reason the Russian Defense Ministry did not give them ammunition and prisoners.
