Prime Minister of Luxembourg visited Borodianka: Nothing can convey the horror

On the morning of June 21, Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel arrived in Kyiv. He has already managed to visit Borodyanka, which during the Russian occupation became the object of mass atrocities of the invaders. The politician announced this on his Twitter page.

– Arrived in Kyiv. This is a demonstration of Luxembourg's solidarity with the people of Ukraine. As long as there is a Russian war, Luxembourg will be with Ukraine,” Bettel wrote.

Regarding his visit to Borodyanka, the politician wrote that he was amazed by what he saw.

– Borodyanka suffered before destruction by Russian aggression and today is a symbol of senseless cruelty and violence. Nothing can convey the horror of what happened, explained Bettel.

Borodyanka is an urban-type settlement. Included in the Buchansky district of the Kyiv region of Ukraine. From February 28 to April 1, it was occupied by Russian troops. The invaders almost completely destroyed the village with long-range guns and aircraft. The number of civilian casualties in the city is probably higher than in Bucha.
