Russian dictator Putin signed a decree instructing the transfer of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant to the control of the Russian Federation.
The corresponding decree was published on the Russian official website of legal information.
“The government of the Russian Federation should ensure that the objects of use are taken into federal ownership atomic energy of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant and other property necessary for its activities,” the document says.
In addition, Putin “endowed” the ZNPP Operating Organization joint-stock company with a status that allegedly allows operate and disable facilities for the use of atomic energy at the Zaporozhye NPP. The President of the aggressor country appointed this JSC to “manage” the nuclear power plant until January 1, 2028.
