Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced the introduction of martial law in the occupied territories of Ukraine: in the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. He announced this on October 19 at a meeting with members of the Security Council.
According to the decree published on the Kremlin website, martial law will come into force from tomorrow, October 20. Within three days from the date of publication of the document, the Russian government must “submit proposals on measures taken in the territories where martial law has been introduced.”
