Russia will continue hostilities on the territory of Ukraine, since the latter allegedly «does not want any negotiations». This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, Russian Interfax reports.
Peskov commented on Vladimir Zelensky's statement that negotiations with the aggressor country should be public, not behind the scenes:
«It is hard to imagine public negotiations at all… There are no such negotiations. And even more so public negotiations to such an extent. But one thing is clear – the Ukrainian side does not want any negotiations. The special military operation continues and its goals must be achieved»,— he said.
Putin's spokesman also said that the Russian occupying forces allegedly launch missile strikes only on Ukraine's critical infrastructure, which “are related to the military potential of Ukraine and the Ukrainian regime” #187;. He also noted that the lack of electricity and heat in many parts of Ukraine is the consequences of the actions of the Kyiv authorities, who “do not want to solve the problem” and refuse to negotiate.
«The unwillingness of the Ukrainian side to solve problem, enter into negotiations, moreover, the actions of the Ukrainian side to abandon the agreed understandings of the text, and so on, these are all the consequences, and this also needs to be discussed», — said Peskov.
