The Rada banned Russian music and books in Ukraine

Ukraine banned the use of Russian music in the media and public transport. The corresponding bill was supported by the Verkhovna Rada. Yaroslav Zheleznyak, MP from the Holos party, announced this on his Telegram channel.

– The Rada has banned Russian music in the Ukrainian media and public space. “For” – 303, – said the people's deputy.

According to him, the parliament also adopted a bill that provides for a ban on the import and distribution of publishing products from the Russian Federation in Belarus and temporarily occupied territories.

– Parliament banned the import and distribution of books and other publishing products from the Russian Federation, the territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by it and from Belarus. “For” – 306, – Zheleznyak wrote.

We are talking about a bill submitted to the Verkhovna Rada at the end of May. By the document, people's deputies proposed to limit the public use of the musical product of the aggressor state and to ban the tour of certain Russian performers.
