Reuters: Ukraine accuses Russian snipers of raping 4-year-old child and mother

Ukraine accuses two Russian soldiers of sexually abusing a four-year-old girl and the gang rape of her mother. This is reported by Reuters with reference to the materials of the Ukrainian prosecutor's office.

In the materials seen by the journalists, prosecutors describe a series of sexual crimes allegedly committed by the Russian 15th separate motorized rifle brigade in four houses in the Brovarsky district in March 2022.

The documents say that 13 March, two snipers, 28 and 32 years old, broke into the courtyard of a young family's house in Brovary near Kiev, while intoxicated.

First, the Russians beat the father with a metal pan, then forced him to kneel, and his wife was raped. One of the soldiers told a four-year-old girl that he would “make a woman out of her” before she was taunted. The family survived.

The prosecutor's office said that after the attack on this family, two soldiers entered the house next door. There they beat an elderly couple, raped a 41-year-old pregnant woman and a 17-year-old girl. In another place where several families lived, Russian soldiers herded everyone into the kitchen and raped a 15-year-old girl and her mother.

According to the agency, all the victims survived and are receiving psychological and medical assistance.

According to prosecutors, one of the rapist snipers died, and the other, named Yevgeny Chernoknizhny, returned to Russia.
