Reznikov: Russia will launch a new offensive in the spring, but not from the territory of Belarus
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said that Ukraine should prepare for a new Russian offensive in the spring. He said this in an interview with the BBC.
In his opinion, Russia may try to collect «forces, ammunition and weapons» to advance from areas it had already occupied in the south and east.
«Spring — best period for updating traffic for all parties… We understand that they will be ready to start and of course we must be ready to start», — said Reznikov.
At the same time, the head of the defense department expressed doubt that the occupiers were preparing a second invasion from Belarus. The minister noted that the movement from the north would take a long time and Russia did not have the resources for this.
