
Rogers outage forces postponement of Peter Nygard hearing

The appearance of former fashion mogul Peter Nygard in a court in Montreal has been postponed due to the outage affecting the Rogers network.
Prosecutor Jérôme Laflamme said it was impossible to have the native Manitoban by videoconference for the hearing, while he is being held in a prison in Toronto.
The prosecutor added that Peter Nygard will appear next week for a new bail hearing.
The businessman makes facing one count of sexual assault and one count of forcible confinement in Quebec.
He also faces six counts of sexual assault and three counts of forcible confinement in Toronto.
US authorities have also requested his extradition to face sexual charges in that country.
