Rolling Stones missed Charlie Watts funeral due to corona rules gossip

Watts’ funeral took place in Devon last week, with only a small number of people in attendance. The Stones were forced to stay in Boston as they prepare for their tour, which was postponed due to Watts’ death. The band will perform for the first time in St. Louis on September 26.

In August, the drummer already announced that he would no longer participate in the American tour due to emergency surgery. His place was taken by Steve Jordan. “After all the disappointment of the tour postponement due to the coronavirus, I don’t want to keep our fans waiting any longer. That’s why I asked my good friend Steve Jordan to jump in.”

Watts died on August 24 at the age of 80 in a London hospital
