Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. The missiles hit mainly energy infrastructure facilities.
This was reported by the heads of the Regional Military District and mayors of cities.
In Volyn region, the Russians hit a critical infrastructure facility in Lutsk. Part of the city turned out to be without electricity, power engineers are working on restoration.
In Rivne region, rockets flew at a critical infrastructure facility in Rivne. The mayor of the city Alexander Tretyak noted that no one was previously injured. All services at the site are still working on restoring electricity.
The Russians also hit the energy facility in Khmelnitsky with missiles. The city was left without electricity, and residents were urged to stock up on water.
< p>In the Kirovograd region, the Russians got into power facilities in two districts of the region. Power outages have already begun there.
In Odessa region, the Russians hit a power facility twice. Some settlements of the Odessa region were left without electricity.
At the same time, air defense forces worked in Kyiv, Lvov and Chernivtsi regions. In the Kyiv region, a downed rocket fell in a forest, and in the Chernivtsi region – into a lake. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted that several missiles flying to the capital were shot down by air defense.
Ukrenergo reported that the scale of damage is comparable to or may exceed the consequences of the attack on October 10-12.
