Russia is preparing reservists in the Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions

Russia is preparing reservists at training grounds in the Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions to be sent to Ukraine. This is stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

– The command of the armed forces of the Russian Federation is trying to recruit and make up for the losses of its troops at the expense of reservists. Up to 2,500 reservists are being trained at training grounds in the Voronezh, Belgorod and Rostov regions. They are planned to be sent to the territory of Ukraine to participate in the war, the message says.

In the Popasnyansky direction, the Russian military are operating together with employees of private military companies.

– Due to huge losses and inability to act independently, units of the airborne troops of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are uniting with representatives of Russian private military companies for further actions as part of consolidated units, the report says.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy uses units that formed during mobilization in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

May 15 is the 81st day of the war in Ukraine. Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Russia is not achieving its strategic goals. According to him, after the Russian troops failed to take Kyiv, they are retreating from Kharkov, and the offensive in the Donbass has stalled.
