Russian troops dig in in Kherson region and Crimea: satellite imagery | PHOTOS

Russian occupation forces are updating old trenches and digging new ones in the north of Crimea and the Kherson region. OSINT analyst Benjamin Pittet writes about this on Twitter.

As the analyst noted, satellite images indicate that Russia has updated the trenches at the checkpoint «Chongar», which is located on the administrative border between Crimea and the Kherson region. In addition, new trenches have appeared there.

According to the analyst, a similar pattern is observed in the northwestern part of Crimea, near Armyansk. The invaders are also renovating old trenches there and digging new ones.

In addition, a huge defensive trench was dug in Novotroitskoye. Many trenches can be seen throughout the region.
