SBU identified five Russian servicemen who shot civilian cars in Gostomel | PHOTO | VIDEO

The Security Service of Ukraine has identified five Russian occupiers who fired on a convoy of evacuation vehicles in Gostomel at the beginning of a full-scale invasion. As a result, five civilians were killed and six were seriously injured, the press service of the SBU informs.

The killing of civilians involved units of the combined Rogvardia detachment from the cities of Kemerovo and Novokuznetskaya, as well as a special-purpose mobile detachment (OMON) in Krasnoyarsk region.

The SBU published a photo of the Russian killers and indicated their positions.

On February 25, these five men shot 10 civilian cars with civilians in Gostomel during the temporary occupation of the village. People tried to escape from the war zone in the direction of Kyiv.

Then the Russian invaders occupied Shevchenko and Svyato-Pokrovskaya streets in Gostomel, from where they shot cars with local residents who tried to leave for more than six hours.

The order to shoot at civilians was given by the commander of the OMON unit, his deputy and representative command of the Russian Guard in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. During the investigation, the SBU obtained their constituent data and contacts. In addition, the special service identified two subordinates who shot motorcades with their own hands.

According to police, on February 25, Russian military personnel fired at 12 vehicles in Gostomel. As a result, 11 people died and 15 were injured. The smallest number of hits in vehicles – 38 balls, the most – 178.

Five Russian servicemen were notified in absentia of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 28, part 2 of Art. 438 (violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder committed by a group of persons by prior agreement). The sanctions of these articles provide for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.

  • In Bucha, the invaders shot 320 people. About 400 people went missing in Gostomel.
