Correctional Service Canada officers made another major seizure at Donnacona Institution (archives).
The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) announces that it seized last Sunday a package on the perimeter of Donnacona Institution containing contraband, the value of which prison is valued at $91,290.
The package included 610 grams of hashish, 230 steroid tablets, a hacksaw blade, a phone charger cord and a map. SIM.
Since the beginning of the spring, authorities at Donnacona Penitentiary, a maximum-security federal institution, have reported at least four contraband seizures, including the value each time totaled several tens of thousands of dollars.
On May 4, the CSC had announced, among other things, that in mid-April it had confiscated several parcels containing illicit objects of a total value estimated at $92,320.
Correctional officers had among other things got their hands on 460 grams of hashish, 95 grams of marijuana and 545 grams of tobacco.
