Shots fire fired at Deux-Montagnes

C' is the second event of its kind to occur this week in the same area.

Shots were fired overnight from Thursday to Friday towards a residence of 15th Avenue in Deux-Montagnes. Several casings were found on the ground.

The police are still trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the event. The street was closed to traffic to allow investigators to gather information.

This is the second of its kind to occur this week in the same area. During the night of Monday to Tuesday, shots were fired near a house, where two adults and two children live. The incident had no casualties.

Acts of gun violence have become almost daily in recent weeks in Montreal and its suburbs, where shootings and gunshots, sometimes fired at random in areas homes, are raising concern in the population.

Two men were killed Tuesday in Montreal, in broad daylight, 30 minutes apart.
