Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, 52 air attacks have been carried out on the capital, killing 120 Kyivans. This was announced by the head of the KGVA Sergey Popko.
«In the period from February 24, 2022 to December 30, 2022, 120 Kyivans died due to the war. Among them, Russian missiles killed 5 children. 495 residents were injured, 30 of them were children. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 638 air raid sirens have sounded in the capital. The total duration of alarms is 693 hours 49 minutes. That is almost 29 days! The residents of the city spent a whole calendar month this year in shelters and bomb shelters», — the report says.
According to Popko, as of today, the occupiers have carried out 52 air attacks on the capital. More than 600 buildings were damaged. Kyiv's critical infrastructure has also experienced significant damage.
