Six people were hit by bullets early this morning in a drive-by shooting at Ajax, Durham Police say.

Authorities tweeted that shots rang out shortly after 1 a.m. from the back of a restaurant at 154 Harwood Avenue, just south of Highway 401.

Although no one was killed, one of the victims has life-threatening injuries.

One ​​or more suspects fled in a vehicle.
