The Armed Forces of Ukraine assure that the Russians do not control Soledar

The statements of the Russian military about the capture of Soledar do not correspond to reality. Sergey Cherevaty, representative of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported this to Suspilny.

At night, the press service of the owner of PMC «Wagner» Prigozhina published a photo allegedly from the Soledar salt mine and reported that the entire territory of the city was allegedly taken under control by their fighters.

The Strategic Communications Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called this information a hostile information and psychological operation.

«It seems that Prigozhin's location is not true, and he is not in the Soledar mines. An element of IPSO from Prigozhin’s PR specialists, aimed at an internal audience in order to somehow justify the insane losses among the prisoners», the department says in a message.
