The Armed Forces of Ukraine compared Syrsky in Bakhmut and Shoigu with Putin, who are afraid to go to the front
The visit of the commander of the Land Forces Alexander Syrsky to the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region contrasts with the leadership of Russia, which is afraid to visit the front. This was stated on the air of the telethon by the speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces Sergei Cherevaty.
According to him, Syrsky visited the Bakhmut area to help commanders on the ground, support the morale of the soldiers and directly study the situation. Cherevaty called Syrsky's visit a typical example of military leadership, when the commander is with his personnel on the most difficult sector of the front.
The speaker of the Eastern Group of Forces also drew attention to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who imitate trips to the troops with visits to the Rostov region or the temporarily occupied Crimea, afraid to be near their fighters.
- On January 8, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Alexander Syrsky, commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, visited Ukrainian positions near Bakhmut and Soledar Donetska area.
