
The court banned the activities of the “Opposition Bloc” in Ukraine
The Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal ruled to ban the activities of the political party “Opposition Bloc” in Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the public movement “CHESNO”. – The property of the party and all its cells, according to the court decision, is transferred to the state. But the decision itself can be challenged in the Supreme Court, the message says. As noted by the participants in the movement, the court session lasted about 1.5 hours. The process was open, but journalists were not allowed into the meeting room, but they were given a copy of the court decision. This information was also confirmed by the people's deputy from the Servant of the People Olga Sovgirya. The politician stressed that all the property of the political force will be transferred to the state. – According to the law on the prohibition of pro-Russian political parties, the activities of the Opposition Bloc political party, whose activities were previously stopped by the decision of the National Security and Defense Council, are prohibited. The property of the banned party was confiscated into state ownership,” Sovgirya wrote on her Telegram channel. The decision to suspend the activities of a number of pro-Russian parties was made at a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on March 20.
