In early April, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during a visit to Kyiv, handed over a questionnaire for obtaining the status candidate for EU membership. After filling out the questionnaire, Ukraine will wait for a corresponding recommendation from the European Commission on whether Kyiv meets the necessary criteria. In case of a positive answer, our country will receive the status of a candidate for joining the bloc, after which negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU should begin. According to Volodymyr Zelensky, the decision will be made in the coming weeks.
