The head of the Kharkiv region Oleg Sinegubov asked the residents of the region on Sunday to stay in shelters as much as possible because of for chaotic attacks. He wrote about this on Facebook on the afternoon of June 26. – We ask you not to be on the streets today without the need. Stay in cover as much as possible. Take care of yourself and your loved ones! Not a day has passed without the blows of the invaders in the Kharkiv region! So we cannot afford to relax, every ignoring of anxiety can cost a life. The invaders continue chaotic shelling of our region,” he said. Sinegubov wrote that Russian aggression destroyed 4,019 residential buildings in the Kharkiv region, 427 educational institutions, 97 medical institutions, 62 cultural institutions and 12 industrial enterprises. The enemy hits from multiple launch rocket systems, and also delivers missile strikes. On Sunday morning, Oleg Sinegubov said that houses and a medical facility had been destroyed overnight in the region. The invaders fired at the Nemyshlyansky and Kholodnogorsky districts of Kharkov. In high-rise buildings, the balconies of apartments were burning, and cars and garages were near them. The Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region wrote that in the center of Kharkiv, the spouses were rescued from the rubble of a destroyed two-story building.
In the region, the Russians fired on Kharkiv, Izyum, Bogodukhovsky and Chuguevsky districts. Residential buildings, outbuildings, garages and cars were damaged.
During the day, three people were injured in Kharkov and four more in the Izyumsky district. A 79-year-old woman died in the Bogodukhovsky district.
The Izyum direction remains the hottest in the region. The enemy is trying to hold the previously occupied positions.
