The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published the latest data on the situation at the front. Fierce fighting continues in the Donbas, but Ukrainian defenders confront the Russians. This is stated in the report of the department. – In Severodonetsk, the Russian military are conducting assault operations in the city, but they are not successful. Fighting continues in the Toshkovka area. In the Slavyansk direction, the RF Armed Forces are trying to gain a foothold in Bogorodichnoye, hostilities continue. In Bakhmutskoye, the Russian military fired at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from mortars, cannon and rocket artillery, the message says. According to the General Staff, the Russian army is regrouping troops in the Limansky direction. In the area of Vrubovka, Nikolaevka and Vasilievka, the enemy tried to launch offensives, but our fighters repelled the attacks and pushed the Russians back to their previous positions. There were no active hostilities in the Avdeevsky, Kurakhovsky, Novopavlovsky and Zaporozhye directions. In the Volynsky, Polessky, Seversky, Kharkov and Yuzhnobuzhsky directions – no changes. Russian troops continue to fire at Ukrainian troops with artillery, mortars and multiple launch rocket systems. It is also reported that checkpoints are being equipped in the border regions of Belarus and additional electronic warfare equipment is being deployed.
