The star of the TV series “Roksolana” Rafael Kotanjyan died at the age of 80
Armenian actor Rafael Kotanjyan died at the age of 81. The artist's death was reported by Panorama.am with reference to the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports. What caused Kotanjyan's death is not specified. It is known that in the last years of his life, the artist lived in two countries – in Armenia and in the USA. The actor graduated from the Yerevan Art and Theater Institute. From 1966 to 1968 he worked at the Drama Theater named after Rachey Ghaplanyan. In 2003, he became the Honored Artist of Armenia.
