Authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped Thursday night , from the Quebec detention facility.

Dave Gingras-Gaudet, 37, escaped around 8:30 p.m. Helped by accomplices, he managed to escape while he was enjoying an outing in the exterior courtyard of the building, explains the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) by way of communication. ué.

Dave Gingras-Gaudet was arrested in February during a series of searches in Quebec. He was charged with concealment and possession of a prohibited firearm.

The fugitive has several criminal records for theft, concealment and obstruction of justice. He already has many prison sentences to his credit.

Dave Gingras-Gaudet is 1.70 meters tall and weighs around 63 kilos. He has brown hair, green eyes and has tattoos on his arms, back and chest.

When he escaped, he wore a colored t-shirt black and pale jeans.
