Tina Karol sang in Tokyo at the Rakuten Girls Award and visited Hiroshima

Ukrainian singer Tina Karol performed in Tokyo and visited Hiroshima as part of her trip to Japan . This was announced on May 15 by the press service of the artist.

To perform at the Rakuten Girls Award 2022 event in Tokyo, Karol chose a dress from the Ukrainian brand Lever Couture in the colors of the national flag. The outfits of the brand are Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Gwyneth Paltrow, Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lopez. The artist sang her songs “Namalyuyu tobі zori”, “Closed your eyes”, “Ukraina – tse ti”, “Nіzhno” and “Vіlna”.

– We will definitely win and restore our country, as it was when Japan did something,” the singer also said.

In Hiroshima, Tina Karol met with Mayor Yuzaki Hidehiko. The singer laid flowers at the Cenotaph for the victims of the atomic bomb.

Since May 11, the singer has been in Japan on a mission as a public ambassador. She was met at the airport by Rakuten Viber owner Hiroshi Mikitani, who donated $8.7 million to Ukraine. For the flight, the singer chose a white knitted T-shirt with a blue and yellow embroidered heart from the Ukrainian brand Siyai and jeans.

The Rakuten Girls Award is one of the largest fashion and music events in Japan, sponsored by Mikitani. The businessman met Karol in 2019 when he came to Ukraine to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky.
