
Two men shot in two separate events
Shots were fired at 3:20 a.m. Sunday, outside bars on Saint-Laurent Boulevard near Milton Street.
Montreal police are investigating two separate events where men were shot by gunfire during the night.
The most recent event occurred around 3:20 a.m. Sunday, outside bars, following an argument between two men in their twenties on Saint-Laurent Boulevard near Milton Street, in the Milton-Parc district.
A 24-year-old man was reportedly hit by a firearm projectile following a verbal altercation. The suspect allegedly pulled out a gun and fired at the victim, who was transported to a hospital, said officer Raphaël Bergeron, spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) .
We do not fear for the life of the young man who suffered serious injuries to the lower body.
The motive for the crime is unknown. The wanted suspect is also believed to be in his twenties.
The victim was hit by gunfire when opening the door after hearing a knock.
< p class="e-p">A few hours earlier, around 12:40 a.m., a man showed up at his victim's home on Macdonald Avenue, in the Côte-des-Neiges district.
A person knocks on the door of the victim's apartment. The victim opens the door to his apartment and that is when she is hit with firearm projectiles in the lower body, said Officer Bergeron.

The victim is a 34-year-old man. He was conscious when transported to hospital and there are no fears for his life, despite the seriousness of the injuries.
Again, the motive for the crime is unknown.
The SPVM is investigating these two armed attacks.
