Ukraine will receive heavy weapons from Italy
Italy will supply Ukraine with heavy weapons similar to those already provided by Germany and the Netherlands. The exact list of equipment is now kept secret, said Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, quoted by Politico. Rutte stressed that Italy decided to contribute to helping Ukraine. At the same time, he found it difficult to answer the question of journalists whether there would be German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 howitzers among the sent equipment. According to the Prime Minister, one can only say that this will be the supply of equipment similar to that previously sent to Ukraine by Germany and the Netherlands. The representative of the Italian Ministry of Defense declined to comment on the possible supply of howitzers, saying that in his country, the list of deliveries for Ukraine is classified. Deliveries of the first 12 Panzerhaubitze 2000 from Germany and the Netherlands were previously reported. The Ukrainian side is also awaiting Berlin's approval for the purchase of another 100 self-propelled howitzers.
