Ukrainian woman received the title of III Vice Miss at the World Next Top Model 2022 contest
Ukrainian Veronika Ostrovskaya received the title of III Vice Miss at the World Next Top beauty pageant Model 2022, the final of which was held in Beirut on June 22. In addition to her, two more Ukrainian women took part in the competition. One of them got into the top 12, the representative of Russia received the 5th place, and Belarus was not included in the list of 12 beauties. – It was very responsible for me to represent Ukraine, especially this year, when every victory is very important for our country. Before the final, I felt that I was one of the winners. It is very nice to receive an award among such a large number of participants. Many of them came from other competitions and were winners of Miss Europe, Miss Tourism, Miss Eurasia or Miss of their countries. It was a discovery for me that all the girls are very friendly, diplomatic and attentive to each other, – said Veronika Ostrovskaya. In 2022, 32 contestants from 18 countries of the world took part in the World Next Top Model. The victory was won by the representative of Romania, and the title of I Vice Miss was won by a contestant from France. By decision of the organizers this year, one of the stages of the competition was absent – this was an interview and answering questions, since the representatives of Russia did not speak and did not understand English. Veronika Ostrovskaya is a professional model. The girl has repeatedly appeared on the pages of Vogue, L'Officiel and Harpers Bazar and participated in shows of the Ukrainian Fashion Week. Before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, she was also the presenter on the Fashiontv UA channel. Earlier, the organizers of Miss Ukraine Universe abandoned the traditional show due to the war in Ukraine and handed over the crown to the winner – the first vice-Miss of last year 28 -year-old Victoria Apanasenko from Chernihiv.
