Altmaier for Corona aid until the end of 2021
NOTE: YOU WILL RECEIVE THIS POST WITHOUT SPEAKER TEXT. FEDERAL ECONOMIC MINISTER PETER ALTMAIER (CDU): “Germany weathered the recession better than almost everyone expected. Growth has fallen less sharply than in other countries. The upswing started again earlier and we can say today that the economic engine is running again We can say that Germany and its economy have the hardest, thank God, behind them. […] But there will be companies that will still not be able to fully open. There will be companies whose sales do not immediately pick up again. And that’s why we will extend the Corona economic aid – beyond June 30th. This has been my request since the spring. And I am very confident that we in the governing coalition will finally come to an agreement on this next week. “
The Federal Minister of Economics expects a corresponding decision in the coalition next week.
