Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this during an online conversation with professors and students of Israeli universities. – This is one of the models that are considered in the security reform, which we are preparing on the basis of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. I'm not sure what kind of model it will be. We will definitely discuss it with the society,” the president said, answering a question from a student from Ukraine. The head of state noted that it will definitely not be the same as before. – As it used to be in terms of protecting our state, army and military, it will no longer be so. The approach will be changed for students and so on, he concluded. At the meeting, Zelensky also said that in many areas, things very similar to Israel await Ukraine. – This concerns both the borders of our state and security within the country. With such a neighborhood, bombing, cruise missiles or something else can be at any moment. Therefore, the air defense of our state will also be developed,” the president explained. The president’s website says that representatives of seven institutes, 14 scientific schools and research centers of Israel have joined the online communication with Volodymyr Zelensky. The approximate audience was 20 thousand people. The event was held at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and was also broadcast on social networks, on YouTube channels and on local television. In Israel, university entrants are not exempt from the army. The term of military service is 30 months for men and 24 months for women.
