Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on the abolition of duty-free import of cars

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky at the last moment signed the law on the return of customs duties, excises and 20 % VAT on imported goods. We are talking about the import of cars by citizens of the country. The text of the document signed by the head of state is posted on the Verkhovna Rada portal.

From July 1, the law comes into force in full. The draft law was adopted by the Rada on June 21. He proposes to resume taxation, which was canceled:

• for goods imported by single tax payers of the first, second and third groups;
• for enterprises that do not pay import duties;
• for vehicles imported by citizens.

At the same time, the document provides for exemption from the Pension Fund fee for cars equipped exclusively with electric motors (one or more).
