Government began a voluntary evacuation of the population from the southern regions of Ukraine. This was stated by Vice Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk at a briefing in Mykolaiv.
«Everyone can leave for safer regions, and the state will provide delivery, lodging, medical care, etc.», — she noted.
According to Vereshchuk, people are offered to leave through Nikolaev or Krivoy Rog to the western regions of Ukraine.
“We have the funds for this, we have understanding and, most importantly, experience. Because we have already done this in the Kharkiv region, Donbass and the like,” she emphasized.
