«It will be closer to summer or in May – probably on the eve of Easter» , he said, when asked when Ukraine could start using the 14 tanks promised by Britain on the front lines.
Wallace said security concerns prevented him from scheduling tank training for Ukrainian forces, but it will begin with a briefing on the operation of individual vehicles, and then move on to combat operations in the ranks.
