
Woman found unconscious at scene of fire in Montreal

A woman was saved by the intervention of firefighters, on the night of Thursday to Friday, in the #x27;Sud-Ouest borough, in Montreal. The victim was found unconscious at the scene of a fire.
Emergency services received a call at approximately 1 a.m. Friday regarding a fire at an apartment building in avenue Marin, near the intersection with rue Saint-Jacques.
When the police arrived, the firefighters had already located the victim, who was unconscious, according to the spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Caroline Chèvrefils.
The victim was said to be a woman around 35 years old, but her identity was still unknown. could not be confirmed as of Friday morning.
The woman in question was rushed to hospital, but her life is not believed to be in danger.
The cause and origin of the fire have not yet been determined. However, the investigation was entrusted to the arson section of the SPVM.
Investigators were to go on site Friday morning to analyze the scene.
