
World leaders congratulate Ukraine and Kalush Orchestra on Eurovision victory
Leaders of states, and the President of the European Commission and the head of the European Council reacted to the victory of Ukrainians at Eurovision 2022″ in Turin, Italy. They talked about how they were struck by the composition and admired the courage of the participants, noting that everyone wanted Ukraine to win and now all of Europe is celebrating it. The group entered the stage at number 12. After the performance, the team called in English to help Ukraine, save Mariupol and Azovstal. The collective team received the most points – 631 (192 from the jury and 439 from the audience). In second place is the UK (466), and in third – Spain (459 points).
