Armed Forces Ukraine is preparing for a major military operation, but so far it is not visible. This was stated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny in an interview with The Economist.
«With such resources (which I have – ed.), I cannot conduct new major operations, although we are currently working on one of them. She's on the way, but you can't see her yet», — he noted.
Zaluzhny explained that the number of shells is limited not only for the Ukrainian army, but also for our allies in the West. After all, they are very expensive, and if you use too much of them, Europe «will have nothing to live on».
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also added that many shells would not be required in the future operation.
