During a massive strike on February 10, two Russian cruise missiles «Caliber» crossed Romanian airspace. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

According to him, on February 11 at 10:18, two Russian cruise missiles «Caliber» the state border of Ukraine with the Republic of Moldova was crossed. Approximately at 10:33 these missiles crossed the airspace of Romania. After that, the missiles returned to the airspace of Ukraine at the point of intersection of the borders of the three states. Zaluzhny clarified that the missiles were fired from the Black Sea.

In turn, the speaker of the Air Force Yuri Ignat, in a commentary to the UP, noted that the Air Force could shoot down these enemy missiles, but they understood the risks and threats to the population of a foreign state, therefore, they did not do it right away.
