Zaluzny: The defense of Bakhmut is of super-important strategic importance

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny called the operation on harrow Bakhmut Donetsk region. He stated this following the results of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander, at which it was unanimously decided to continue to defend Bakhmut.

«I respect the strength, courage and invincibility of our soldiers in Bakhmut. A defensive operation in this direction is of paramount strategic importance for deterring the enemy. She is the key to the stability of the defense of the entire front», said Zaluzhny.

The Commander-in-Chief also thanked all the defenders and defenders of Ukraine, who give a fitting rebuff to the occupiers and bring Ukraine's victory closer.
