Zelensky called on Cannes Lions participants to become allies of Ukraine

Zelensky urged Cannes Lions participants to become allies of Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the participants of the Cannes Lions international festival, urging them to support our country in the fight against Russian aggression. This was discussed in his address to the Ukrainians.

– The shortest, but very weighty address he made to the participants of the international festival of creativity in Cannes – the largest such event in the world. Cannes Lions is a special audience. These are people who know how to manage attention and Ukraine really needs it right now. I called on the most creative people in the world to be our allies in this. And I know that the response in Cannes was very positive, the head of state said.

As the president noted, the longer the war goes on in Ukraine, the more difficult it is to compete for the attention of hundreds of millions of people in different countries. Zelensky assured that he would do everything possible so that attention to Ukraine would not fade away.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is considered the most authoritative international festival of advertising producers. This 5 to 7 day festival is held annually in the French city of Cannes, usually on the third week of June. The main event of the festival is the award ceremony – the authors of the best works of the year in the field of advertising receive the “Golden Lion”.
