President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, for which fierce battles with Russian invaders continue. FreeDom TV channel reports this.
It is reported that during his visit, the head of state met with Ukrainian defenders and presented them with awards.
«It seems to me that Bakhmut's heroes should get the same that everyone gets. I wish that their children, families – that everything is fine with them, that it is warm, that there is health. I would like to wish that there was light, but such a difficult situation that light is either there or not. The main thing is for the light to be inside», Zelensky said.
It should be noted that Bakhmut is the hottest point on the front line.
